Dolly Parton’s nephew releases 9 to 5 rap remix – Music News
Dolly Parton’s nephew Sabyn released a rap version of ‘9 to 5’.
The 40-year-old rapper revealed his famous aunt approved of his take on the ’80s classic, although the couple are not “close.”
He told People: “She’s very kind, very supportive and very kind to me.
“We’re not close and we don’t spend a lot of time together, but she encouraged me so much when I came to see her with my new version of ‘9 to 5’.
âI played it for her and she was like, look, you’ve got my blessing to do whatever you need to do with this.
“Everything people say about her is true. She is an amazing person.”
Meanwhile, the 75-year-old music legend recently recreated her famous Playboy shoot for her husband’s birthday.
The husband of country icon Carl Dean was a huge fan of her 1978 Playboy blanket, so she decided to slip her stunning curves into the famous white tie and strapless black bunny outfit as a surprise.
Sharing a video of her wearing the tight set on her social media accounts, Dolly said, âYou’re probably wondering why I’m dressed like this. Well, it’s for my husband’s birthday. you some time ago i said i was gonna pose for playboy magazine when i was 75? well i’m 75 and they don’t have a magazine anymore but my husband still has loved the original Playboy cover.
“I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy. He still thinks I’m a hot girl after 57 and I’m not going to try to talk him out of it.”
The ‘Jolene’ singer then held up a framed print with the old Playboy cover next to a new photo of her posing in the bodysuit, and admitted that she thought she looked sexier now than it was in the 70s.
She added: “In the first one, I was kind of a butter ball. Well, I’m string cheese now! But he’ll probably think I’m cream cheese, I hope!”
In the clip, Dolly also showed her millions of followers a clip of her showcasing the new Playboy image to her man Carl – who she has been married to since 1966.
The blonde bombshell signed off on her video by offering Playboy to pose for the brand again – created by the late media mogul Hugh Hefner – once again.
She said, âDo you think Playboy should pay me for at least one photoshoot?
