Harry Styles fans have been banned from queuing until 12 hours before his show at the O2 Academy Brixton.
The former One Direction singer performs at the iconic venue in London on Tuesday night (24.05.22) but his fans have been told they won’t be able to camp out to try and clinch a spot in front of the crowd.
A sign outside the venue read: ‘Queue for the Harry Styles show is strictly off until 8am on Tuesday May 24.’
Over the weekend, the venue explained that the rule was reduced to other gigs “on previous nights”.
The team tweeted: “IMPORTANT NOTICE
“If you’re lucky enough to have tickets to @Harry_Styles, we’re as excited about this show as anyone, but we have other shows on the previous nights, so we have to point out that you won’t be able to line up before 8 a.m. on Tue, May 24.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
The ‘As It Was’ hitmaker released his third solo album ‘Harry’s House’ on Friday (20.05.22) and he is playing the one-off Brixton gig to celebrate the release.
The record is currently at the top of the charts this week, and the LP has broken other records on Amazon Music.
The collection has already broken the record for the most first-day Alexa album requests for a male artist in Amazon Music history, while also having the most Alexa album requests. the first day so far this year.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, the 28-year-old star explained how the album gives fans the chance to spend “a day in my head”.
Harry explained: “When I took that title, put it on the songs we were doing, it felt like it took on a whole new meaning and it was pretty much, imagine that It’s a day in my house What am I going through A day in my head, what am I going through at home?
“I play fun music. I play sad music. I play this, I play that. Feeling things. Kind of like a day in the life. I love it all.
“And I think while it’s obviously a lot more electronic in a lot of places than anything I’ve done, it’s also so much more intimate to me. And so much more intimate.”
