NAACP’s Boulder County Hosts “Business in Black and White” Event

NAACP Boulder County will host an in-person rally for Black-owned businesses, Black professionals and member businesses of the organization, as well as other Boulder County businesses, professionals and entrepreneurs.

The “Business in Black and White – a Black Talk: Race in the Workplace Series” event will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on June 16 at the Roots Music Project, 4747 Pearl St., Suite V3A, Boulder. It will include music by Jack Hadley, light refreshments and a cash bar.

The NAACP Economic Opportunities Committee organized the event to introduce Boulder County NAACP corporate members and Black-owned businesses and professionals to each other and the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to share experiences, challenges and opportunities related to doing business and living in Boulder County.

Registration is mandatory.

NAACP Boulder County member companies have access to the NAACP Economic Opportunity Committee Ambassador Program, designed to help businesses and nonprofits achieve their diversity, equity, inclusion, and action goals.
